XYVEL Trip: privacy policy

Version of 15 September 2026

The essentials

XYVEL Trip is a web application at xyvel.ch/trip that requires an account. What you write there is processed by XYVEL and by its artificial intelligence provider to build your programme, without your e-mail. The site sets no tracker and no analytics cookie. Payment is processed by Stripe.

Account and subscription

The e-mail address you enter is sent to our server (api.xyvel.ch, hosted by Railway), which sends a one-time sign-in code. The server keeps the address, one token per signed-in device (stored in your browser, revoked by signing out), the subscription status and the monthly counters of trips and messages. Payment is processed by Stripe: XYVEL neither sees nor stores your card number.

Your trips and the artificial intelligence

What you write in the trip planner (trip criteria, conversation, choices) and the versions of the programme are kept by our server for 30 days after the last activity, then deleted; you can delete a trip earlier from the application or on request. To write the programme, these texts are sent to our artificial intelligence provider, Anthropic (United States), without your e-mail or any account identifier, under contractual terms that do not allow training its models on this data. This transfer outside Switzerland relies on those contractual safeguards, in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act.

Prices and sources

Prices come from official and partner sources, queried by our server; they are used for the programme of your session. Only prices without any identifier (route or city, dates, amount, source, time) recorded before 11 September 2026 remain kept for at most 12 months in an anonymous price history; no new price is added to it. XYVEL books nothing: links open the seller's site and may carry an affiliate identifier, at no extra cost to you.

Data in your browser

Your browser keeps the device's sign-in token, the chosen language and, in the page address, the open trip. Signing out clears the token.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you can request access to, rectification or deletion of the data linked to your account, or deletion of the account itself, at contact@xyvel.ch. You can also delete each trip from the application and sign out to revoke the device token.
