XYVEL Trip: terms of use
Version of 13 October 2026
Scope
These terms govern the use of the XYVEL Trip trip planner (xyvel.ch/trip), published by XYVEL, sole proprietorship, Chemin des Clos 13, 1020 Renens, Switzerland, and of the XYVEL Trip Pro subscription. By creating an account or subscribing, you accept them.
Account
An account, identified by an e-mail address and a one-time sign-in code, is required to use the planner, including for the free programme. You are responsible for access to your mailbox. At most five devices can be signed in at once; signing out revokes the device.
XYVEL Trip Pro subscription
The price of XYVEL Trip Pro is the one shown on the subscription page (xyvel.ch/trip) at the time you subscribe; that page alone is authoritative. The trip planner is open without a subscription for a first programme and a few messages, once per account. Beyond that, the subscription gives access within the monthly quotas shown in the application. The price may change for future periods; you will be informed at least thirty days in advance.
Payment and renewal
Payment is handled by our payment provider, by card. The subscription renews automatically every month until cancelled. If a payment fails, Pro access is kept for three days to allow regularization, then suspended.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the trip planner (Manage subscription, which opens the customer portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; started periods are not refunded, subject to the right of withdrawal described below. XYVEL may cancel a subscription in case of manifest abuse, with a pro rata refund.
Right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union, the law gives you fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase, without giving a reason. As XYVEL Trip Pro is a digital service supplied immediately, you expressly ask, at the moment of payment, for it to start at once, and you acknowledge that you lose that right once the service has been fully supplied. That request and that acknowledgement are collected by a checkbox on the payment page: without it, the subscription does not start. Until the service has begun, you keep your fourteen days. This paragraph takes nothing away from the mandatory rights of your country of residence.
Availability
XYVEL strives to keep the Pro service continuously available, without guaranteeing it. A prolonged outage of one month or more entitles you, on request, to a pro rata refund for the period concerned.
Trip planner
The trip planner (xyvel.ch/trip) builds a programme from prices from official and partner sources, in your currency, shown as checked (with the time of the check) or as estimated (with the date of the check): these prices are indicative, can change, and only the seller's site is authoritative, where the booking is made under its own terms. The programme is produced by an artificial intelligence and may contain errors or omissions: check times, formalities and prices before any purchase. XYVEL is neither a travel agency nor a package travel organiser, sells no ticket or stay and is not a party to any contract with a carrier, hotel or provider. Use is subject to the monthly quotas shown in the application; the service may be paused temporarily if the overall usage ceiling is reached. These sources and the sellers' sites have their own terms. XYVEL may earn an affiliate commission on bookings made through its links, at no extra cost to you. For a Pro subscriber, clicking a booking link may open a session in their name with the seller (see Privacy).
Prices
The programme shows the price read from the seller for your status at the time indicated; it is read again when the booking page opens. XYVEL Trip Pro subscribers see a members' rate on hotels; other accounts see the public price. The price paid is the one the seller shows on its booking page.
Google Maps content
For public transport timetables outside Switzerland, the planner includes Google Maps content. Its use is subject to the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service (https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). XYVEL does not store these timetables: they are read again each time the programme is opened and shown with the mention "Google Maps". No personal data is sent to Google, only places and a time.
Data
Data processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions, the courts at XYVEL's place of business have jurisdiction.
